Challenge 10, Part 3 is up!

We're making the most out of Challenge 10 with a third pandigital puzzler! Check out Part 3, now available here and on our YouTube channel. While you're at it, which not have a go at Part 1 or Part 2 (or both)?

After the tests? Why not CollaboMath? Teachers: it's time for the big end-of-year tests, we know, but keep CollaboMath in mind for those last few weeks of the school year!

Consider engaging groups of students in one of these:
  • Patterns and linear relationships: Challenge 03: Finger Counting, or Challenge 08 (Part 1): The Confetti Problem.
  • Geometry: Challenge 05: International Paper.
  • Probability: Challenge 07: String Theory.
  • Counting: Challenge 01: Ermer Numbers or Challenge 06: Pieces of Eight or Challenge 09: Awe of Large Numbers.

Challenge 10, Part 2 !

We continue our posing of pandigital problems this week with Challenge 10, Part 2. It's available on the front page, and also on our YouTube channel (alongside Challenge 10, Part 1).

We know that it's hard to bring in extension activities as standardized test season rolls around, but as the year comes to a close, please keep Collaborative Mathematics in mind!

Why not spend some of those last weeks after the tests making a mathematical mess with Challenge 08 -- I mean, you're probably going to recycle a bunch of those old handouts anyhow, right?

Or, maybe your students are looking for something more relaxed at the end of the year -- why not go back to counting on your fingers with Challenge 03?
