Maths Explorations at Oslo International School
In the Maths Explorations club we will play and study mathematical games, investigate puzzles and patterns, and think deeply about interesting problems. Our goals include both learning more about mathematics, and developing our skills as creative, patient, and collaborative problem-solvers.
Participants may find some of our explorations quite challenging. We probably won't encounter many questions that can be answered in just 10 quick seconds! Rather, we will need our individual patience and determination, as well as the collaboration and combined effort of all club members.

In some of our past sessions...
- We have tackled problems about handshakes and pirates.
- We have tinkered with pandigital puzzles.
- We have played games with dice, and wrapped our brains around the card game Set.
- We have combined math and art by creating modular origami and by drawing a famous fractal triangle.
